Super Basketball Description:
Compete against different computer-controlled teams such as Junior High School, High School, College, University, etc. After you beat a team you will move on to the next until you compete against the ultimate team.
Super Basketball comp runs until 7pm Monday March 1st (Aust Eastern Time - daylight saving)

Yes interesting may be overstating it
I do remember seeing this game in the Arcades as a cocktail - found it hard to play. Need to config your buttons for a nice dribble/pass/shoot layout to get comfortable with the controls, then I think scores will flow. |

Wow the other team apparantly has never heard of goaltending :-p
Also I love how they can block a 3-pointer from the other end of the court :-p

hmm think this will be a low scoring game as im not that good a basketball classics nba jam fine this will give it a go later.

Not to mention you can get pinged for charging when they are beside/behind you!
Slight increase in score - 379,090. Still stuck on Japan though, they are tough.
And another little sub-game challenge  Most baskets in the bonus stage - my best is 47 so far.

Just a note that I'll be away Friday-Sunday this week and not in Internet Range, unless old lighthouses have internet these days ? Anyway just means no progress score updates from Friday-Sunday, I'll update Sunday nght once I'm back.
I'm hoping to experience the whole 'Goodies' lighthouse thing, pot-holing in the lounge room, discovering dinosaurs in the main room, meeting the Queen as the QE2 sails by, then having the whole lighthouse blast off into outer Space as we strike oil from the pot-holing |

G'day all,
This comp slipped my mind so thought I'd jump on & have a go today. Never seen this game before but I like. This score from my third game so will put in some practice today.
update 2
update 3 - getting there.
Finally beat the Japs but only had 9 seconds left so minimal bonus, spewing as had 30+ seconds left with 2 points required.

Score is up to Japan 1st time around, got through the first 4 rounds with 50 plus seconds left each time which made for big bonus points & also managed to get over 35 goals in the 2 free throw challenges.
The free throw challenge is a bit silly imo, took me a while to work out to just hit the shoot button flat out rather than trying to time it. |
